Copper as an element:
Copper is a chemical element with the symbol Cu (from Latin: cuprum) and atomic number 29. It is a ductile metal with very high thermal and electrical conductivity. Pure copper is soft and malleable; a freshly exposed surface has a reddish-orange color. It is used as a conductor of heat and electricity, a building material, and a constituent of various metal alloys.
The metal and its alloys have been used for thousands of years. In the Roman era, copper was principally mined on Cyprus, hence the origin of the name of the metal as сyprium (metal of Cyprus), later shortened to сuprum. Its compounds are commonly encountered as copper (II) salts, which often impart blue or green colors to minerals such as azurite and turquoise and have been widely used historically as pigments. Architectural structures built with copper corrode to give green verdigris (or patina). Decorative art prominently features copper, both by itself and as part of pigments.
Copper is essential to all living organisms as a trace dietary mineral because it is a key constituent of the respiratory enzyme complex cytochrome c oxidase. In molluscs and crustacea copper is a constituent of the blood pigment hemocyanin, which is replaced by the iron-complexed hemoglobin in fish and other vertebrates. The main areas where copper is found in humans are liver, muscle and bone. Copper compounds are used as bacteriostatic substances, fungicides, and wood preservatives.
Copper as a Class:

Keeping together is progress.
Working together is success.”

Success is what we want. Success in a way that everything that we’re doing, at the end we’ll get our goal. Maybe not all the times we’re on the top. We may not be the best among the rest; we can say that we’re the united in everything that we do. That’s why every time we failed, it’s still okay. Cause the goal is to do our best as a team not to win as an individual.
Copper, just like other sections, are not tightly bound together because we do have our own group of friends. But it’s not a problem, every time we are inside the class, we are acting as a copper, acting as a one section. That’s the best and every one of us wanted to do.
We as a Copper is not a serious kind of students, we are like those “lazy” people in terms of doing our assignments or anything that needed to be done at home. We’re always working as a group. “One for all, all for one” that is our saying, one food for everyone. One mistake is everybody’s fault.
We are naughty just like others. “Shot gun” the word that you would hear every time we are having a test. “Share naman” its means to copy someone’s answer. There are lot of words that you can hear inside our room.
Our room is like a comedy bar, nonstop punch line coming from every one of us. We’re all happy people. That is why our teachers are always getting mad because of our noise, especially our own adviser. Often times, our room is like a studio. We always like to sing, to play instruments and have a jamming together. But not all the times were just happy; there are times that we’re getting mad with each other especially when we needed to be serious. It’s the hardest thing for every one of us to do. But at the end, we find ourselves laughing in all our problems. We can do anything as long as we’re together.
